With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Adam Solheim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on CD Municipal's corner Martino Armona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claes Stålberg quite easily take care of the ball. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Stålberg having to make a save. Tulio Andinyach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Adam Solheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Solheim in the 47th minute of play. After the first half CD Municipal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Örtomta Legends made a substitution. Christian Moseng replaced Adam Solheim. After a defensive mix-up in Örtomta Legends's zone, Oalo Dean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Stålberg came out of the goal and Oalo Dean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Ryota Miyagi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claes Stålberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claes Stålberg was a little too slow when Oalo Dean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-5. After having played for 78 minutes, Oalo Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oalo Dean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Dean in the 81st minute of play. The CD Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when CD Municipal's Oalo Dean looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oalo Dean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Claes Stålberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. CD Municipal were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Örtomta Legends's much stronger midfield.
