U. de Tarapacá's Orfilio Orbañanos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sentis Ciblis in the 18th minute of play. Ariel Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sentis Ciblis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Mark Devia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mateo Pedraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orfilio Orbañanos in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 52 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Mark Devia.
