Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Espiridion Ascot hit a great ball. Espiridion Ascot's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hemming Tjørnum firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carl Skytt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Nastasio's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Espiridion Ascot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Hemming Tjørnum made a huge save. Ríver Late's Carl Skytt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Nastasio in the 20th minute of play. Espiridion Ascot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Geovani de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ríver Late were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after C.A. Caminiaga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Haremeijer took the corner. The corner ended in Rick Haremeijer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum did a great save. With his leg Hemming Tjørnum managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Ríver Late's Espiridion Ascot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when C.A. Caminiaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espiridion Ascot, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Geovani de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Txeru made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Caminiaga's zone, Lorien Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemming Tjørnum came out of the goal and Lorien Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Nastasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Herensuge hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorien Blanco's late challenge caught a C.A. Caminiaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorien Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. Lorien Blanco hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Espiridion Ascot sped through C.A. Caminiaga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. The audience was convinced that Geovani de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hemming Tjørnum was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorien Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Espiridion Ascot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, C.A. Caminiaga's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani de Salles came free, but Hemming Tjørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ríver Late's Lorien Blanco got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rodolfo Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carl Skytt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
