With a little luck, River Plate ® 9-12's Teofilo Batista got control of the ball when Marnix Harmannus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marnix Harmannus got free with Teofilo Batista in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Batista made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Marnix Harmannus sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Marnix Harmannus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Teofilo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marnix Harmannus in the 21st minute of the match. Cayetano Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Martxelin having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Muhammet Ökten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate ® 9-12's zone, Anastasio Perutxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Batista came out of the goal and Anastasio Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River Plate ® 9-12's Teofilo Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save River Plate ® 9-12 from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Jimeno was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. Teodelina FC's Marnix Harmannus managed to work through River Plate ® 9-12's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marnix Harmannus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teofilo Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marnix Harmannus in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute Cayetano Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Teodelina FC's zone, Cayetano Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Martxelin came out of the goal and Cayetano Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marnix Harmannus in the 61st minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Teofilo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Akhilleus Rallis in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Teodelina FC's Nino Ventura. River Plate ® 9-12's Anacleto Lohitzun was substituted for Cayetano Iratxo. Teodelina FC's Jonathan Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Anacleto Lohitzun fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate ® 9-12's protests and gave Anacleto Lohitzun a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, River Plate ® 9-12's Anacleto Lohitzun got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Anacleto Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Jonathan Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Jonathan Calixto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate ® 9-12's Teofilo Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Martxelin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Lohitzun in the 85th minute. Elián Jazmin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Teodelina FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Anacleto Lohitzun scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Martxelin, making the score, 1-2. Jonathan Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
