Lauro Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Mattos in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Queiroz in the 28th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Aílton Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Enéas Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Diego Cerezo sped through Bitelon FC - SAF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aílton Lopez. When Fiori Souto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnaldo Vargas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Vargas came free, but Aílton Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
