The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bebeto de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julius Klačko went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Julius Klačko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 11 minutes of play, La MaKina del Parque's Julius Klačko made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bebeto de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Klačko in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AITEC's Manfredo de Lara got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Julius Klačko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bebeto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Klačko, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The AITEC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La MaKina del Parque were winning 0-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Klačko to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Julius Klačko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 74 minutes into the game, La MaKina del Parque's Julius Klačko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebeto de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Julius Klačko might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bebeto de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sven-Olof Hamberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bebeto de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Julius Klačko notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo. Bebeto de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded La MaKina del Parque left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AITEC.
