Oliver Kan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 34th minute of the match. Ignacio Di Stasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Venerando in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Modestio came free, but Ignacio Di Stasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Albeiro Usuriaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oliver Kan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes, Orvar Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isótopos V.M. and the ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs players grew even worse after the yellow card. ʙıᴄнᴀʀʀᴀккøs кᴀʀʀøйᴇʀøs's Juan Rodriguez was substituted for Pascual Modestio.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albeiro Usuriaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Juan Rodriguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Di Stasi was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Juan Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Di Stasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Rodriguez in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Di Stasi saved Isótopos V.M. from getting behind. In the 69th minute Gualterio Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Di Stasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Di Stasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Venerando in the 70th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Isótopos V.M. got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Oihenarte. After having played for 93 minutes, Taribo West managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Taribo West was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Pedro Domingues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oliver Kan, 0-3. The Isótopos V.M. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Isótopos V.M. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
