After 34 minutes of play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Luciano Sesuldo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Percy Rocha got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 42nd minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Narciso Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fabiano Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danil Shashkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jürgen Klinsmann made a great header on Blumenau Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Blumenau Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
