Guido Vissenaeken started the match with the kick off. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Rosati in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Guido Vissenaeken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeoffrey De Prins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. Jeoffrey De Prins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Vissenaeken went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 30th minute of play. Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeoffrey De Prins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 37th minute of play forced MagicTeam's goalkeeper Jeoffrey De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Rosati in the 38th minute of play. Eugenio Rosati took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jaspar Van Den Broeck hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Rosati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolf Sanchez's late challenge caught a Brugge United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Rolf Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Rolf Sanchez with Eugenio Rosati as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Demarrez in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Eugenio Rosati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Lieven Demarrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, MagicTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quade Markou to maneuver through the defense. MagicTeam's Luis Rau was substituted for Jan Hop. MagicTeam's Ray Kindermans was substituted for Santo Lidon. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lieven Demarrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, MagicTeam's Herald Delamenin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Sandro Gaúcho in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MagicTeam's Luis Rau. Vítor Baia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lieven Demarrez went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
