The LeRoeulx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Persoons should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Piearres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Claude Persoons made a huge save. The LeRoeulx fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Haithabu FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
