After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Peep Pronk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peep Pronk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Kochowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. United Legends's Alfred Kochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Peep Pronk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16thth minute of the game Peep Pronk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but United Legends's Alfred Kochowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Onbera in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 19th minute of play forced United Legends's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Peep Pronk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Kochowski was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Kochowski. United Legends's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peep Pronk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Pedro Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Kochowski. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peep Pronk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Melquiades Oinaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United Legends and the AC LeX Luthor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, United Legends's Melquiades Oinaz got a free kick in the 34th minute. United Legends's Alfred Kochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. United Legends's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. When United Legends's Dieguinho Godoi, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for United Legends. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Godoi got free with Fulgencio Eyague in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Kochowski came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk. But to his dismay, Peep Pronk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Bastiaro to make the kick off. 52 minutes in the game Luciano Bastiaro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dieguinho Godoi. 54 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfred Kochowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Alfred Kochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes of play, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Kochowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of United Legends booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Branca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Mantvydas Balvočius in the 65th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fulgencio Eyague's left hand side. After some careless play in the United Legends defense, Peep Pronk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Kochowski. The United Legends fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Kochowski should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Errando did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Alfred Kochowski 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Errando got free with Alfred Kochowski in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Alvaro Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfred Kochowski came out of the goal and Alvaro Errando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of United Legends booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Hubina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded AC LeX Luthor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than United Legends.
