The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Henrique Abecia put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of River CBBA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sajones F.C.:s goal. River CBBA's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Chan in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tobias Abarca could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Julio Quinten however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Chan in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Matildo Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Gaspar Mambru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sajones F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River CBBA the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Gaspar Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Fidel Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sajones F.C.'s Ivan Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Abarca. In the 42nd match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Errolan to maneuver through the defense. Julio Quinten acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vladimiro Abar. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Houseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Tobias Abarca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Quinten, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s Emanuel Errolan got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Tobias Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Errolan. When Emanuel Errolan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. After 65 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Errolan. Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Houseman in the 67th minute of play. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Abechuco in the 69th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, River CBBA's Jairo Abadie made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! River CBBA's Rene Houseman got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Rene Houseman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Artur Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The River CBBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sajones F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
