Quebrachitos FC's Anacleto Sendoa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edgard Barros, made in the 11th minute of the game. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 13th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Berdoi in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner Marcos Berdoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Ekhi quite easily take care of the ball. Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ekhi having to interfere. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 22nd minute of play. Carlos Germano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Barca in the 24th minute. If Anacleto Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aníbal Barca sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes, Marcos Berdoi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Barros hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barca in the 38th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Barros made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quebrachitos FC's Fabricio Ereinotz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Berdoi to make the kick off. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Barca in the 54th minute of the match. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 56 minutes, Geronimo Fernendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos FC and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Geronimo Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
