An unexpectedly hard shot by Arias Baltanas in the 3rd minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Paco Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIBURON F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arias Baltanas in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Eguen saved Matheu City FC from getting behind. Minas Makris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Emanuel Ceandro made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arias Baltanas came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TIBURON F.C's Emanuel Ceandro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save TIBURON F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Arias Baltanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Peres in the 17th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the TIBURON F.C defense, Vicente Marin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Ceandro. The TIBURON F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Ceandro should have stopped the shot. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arias Baltanas in the 29th minute of play. Minas Makris in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Ceandro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, TIBURON F.C's Lázaro Quintana got a free kick in the 40th minute. Arias Baltanas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arias Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Minas Makris to make the kick off. TIBURON F.C's Emanuel Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Egoitz in the 51st minute of play. After 51 minutes of play, Matheu City FC's Mariano Egoitz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Ceandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Salgado came free, but Emanuel Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Matheu City FC from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Peres in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Humberto Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TIBURON F.C made a substitution. Mathias Bastos replaced Arias Baltanas. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when TIBURON F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Minas Makris came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Matheu City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minas Makris couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the game, Paco Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Celedonio Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Lázaro Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen got control of the ball when Enzo Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Eguen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Bastos in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Bastos got free with Celedonio Eguen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When TIBURON F.C's Paco Sancho in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
