If Felix Varioz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ascencio Sotelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mónico Farro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Penuel Football Club defense, Mónico Farro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ascencio Sotelo. The Penuel Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ascencio Sotelo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Majin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Penuel Football Club's Nunez Musko in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Musko to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Nunez Musko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majin FC's Tor-Andre Grønbech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yu Jing Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Semeno in the 58th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Ascencio Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Lesiecki was slow to take the kick. During this time Majin FC's players had a chance to rest. Majin FC's Patricio Iratze was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ascencio Sotelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Bartoleme Villasante fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penuel Football Club's protests and gave Bartoleme Villasante a yellow card for diving instead.
