Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Peng Bin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Del Manfredi in the 25th minute of the match. If Del Manfredi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gasteiz Latorre came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthon Öberg to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Öberg came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Celso Trasloseros. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 71st minute of play. Jorge Abreu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Guto Pirani from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Gabriel Porfiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Argoitz in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Artemio Argoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jeremy Avellana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Artemio Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
