In the 9th minute, Amancio Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Douwe Gentenaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goalkeeper Douwe Gentenaar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Nataniel. The wind increased when Amancio Urtats made the kick off in the second half. Amancio Urtats's late challenge caught a Sheep United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Urtats helped the player get up and apologised. Douwe Gentenaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boudewijn Wilmink in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Faron saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Celestino Nataniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boudewijn Wilmink received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Faron came out and tried to block the shot, but Boudewijn Wilmink slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sheep United's Olaf Degens got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Boudewijn Wilmink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Sheep United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Eylens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sheep United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
