Ben Roi's late challenge caught a Carqueja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Roi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Royal PSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Roi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Carqueja defense, Paul Guillevic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lope Villandiego. The Carqueja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lope Villandiego should have stopped the shot. Dayam Creus kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The Royal PSG fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Royal PSG's Paul Guillevic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antoine Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pinto Caniego in the 26th minute of play. Carqueja's Lope Villandiego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Le Clainche in the 28th minute of play. Maurice Chalaye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lope Villandiego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Chalaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Serge Dole got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Royal PSG's Théodore Cordeau got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurice Chalaye scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lope Villandiego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Carqueja supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Royal PSG's performance. The match ended with a win for Royal PSG.
