Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Runar Elbrønd made the kick off which started today's match. Ronnie Glenholm scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Barntved, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Johan Harring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hagbard Frilund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johan Harring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute of the match, Ronnie Glenholm got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Barntved was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute, Johan Harring left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Højer FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Runar Elbrønd charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Runar Elbrønd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lendum S's Runar Elbrønd got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes Højer FC got a freekick which was hit by Hemming Jøhncke. A collision led to Højer FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Laus Skovholm hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes, Lendum S's Rikardt Calundann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Barntved came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lendum S reached it. In the 33rd minute Runar Elbrønd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Barntved saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lendum S's Rikardt Calundann got a free kick in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Lendum S's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Brandtlund came free, but Hagbard Frilund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lendum S players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Højer FC were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johan Harring made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Runar Elbrønd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Barntved. Højer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Elbrønd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 58 played minutes Lendum S got a freekick which was hit by Micki Søvrup. Hagbard Frilund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laus Skovholm in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Johan Harring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbard Frilund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Højer FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hemming Jøhncke hit a great ball. Ronnie Glenholm took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Barntved. André Barntved dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Glenholm in the 70th minute of play forced Højer FC's goalkeeper André Barntved to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Laus Skovholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Højer FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Hagbard Frilund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laus Skovholm in the 77th minute. Hagbard Frilund made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Laus Skovholm sent off a good shot on target. Poul Køngsmark's late challenge caught a Lendum S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Poul Køngsmark helped the player get up and apologised. Poul Køngsmark kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rikardt Calundann, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lendum S's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Laus Skovholm scored to the left of an out of position Hagbard Frilund, making the score, 3-4. 95 minutes into the game, one of Lendum S:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johan Harring walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 97th match minute, Lendum S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balthazar Foshammer to maneuver through the defense. The Højer FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Højer FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
