Serhat Kayacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Arsene in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Eregli FK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Arsene came free, but Serhat Kayacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muharrem Rakim's late challenge caught a Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Craiova's Aristide Cioroianu got control of the ball when Resulhan Ilgın tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ali Hamza Tayfur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Arsene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resulhan Ilgın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Cioroianu having to interfere. When Muharrem Rakim came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Eregli FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muharrem Rakim couldn't finish the play. Aristide Cioroianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayet Kazakhan in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th minute Vali Balaeț suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 96 minutes into the game, Hidayet Kazakhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eregli FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Craiova the free kick. Hidayet Kazakhan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Eregli FK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
