With a little luck, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Răzvan Cara got control of the ball when Marioara Olaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radu Zăvoianu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Birișu came free, but Răzvan Cara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Coșereanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Răzvan Cara made a huge save. Luca Coșereanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Răzvan Cara firmly grabbed it by the left post. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Răzvan Cara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Chimia Buzau from getting a goal against them. Sandu Cigu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nistor Arjoca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Muscaș kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Radu Zăvoianu, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 26 minutes, Radu Zăvoianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Chimia Buzau and the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, -BZF- Chimia Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Zăvoianu to maneuver through the defense. Răzvan Cara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Coșereanu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The supporters of -BZF- Chimia Buzau booed when -BZF- Petrolul Berca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marioara Chiricheş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Arjoca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Poenaru's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Iacob Pamfil made a precise shot to the right of Nistor Arjoca. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nistor Arjoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Blaga in the 42nd minute of the match. Luca Coșereanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Răzvan Cara made a huge save. Sorin Nisipeanu's late challenge caught a -BZF- Petrolul Berca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Nisipeanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Adam Ghițulescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Răzvan Cara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -BZF- Petrolul Berca reached it. Răzvan Cara made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Eliodor Birișu sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when -BZF- Chimia Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Zăvoianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Adam Ghițulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Ghițulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Cara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Coșereanu came free, but Răzvan Cara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Aurel Boteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Adam Ghițulescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Cara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Eliodor Birișu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Cara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Luca Coșereanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Răzvan Cara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Răzvan Bara hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Jula came free, but Răzvan Cara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Coșereanu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Cara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luca Coșereanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Cara was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Marioara Chiricheş lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to -BZF- Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marioara Chiricheş hit a great ball. Radu Zăvoianu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Birișu in the 81st minute of play forced -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalkeeper Răzvan Cara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Marioara Olaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Cara was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When Eliodor Birișu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Birișu couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. -BZF- Chimia Buzau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
