Aurel Ionașcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugen Popean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Șora in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugen Popean prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Șora was the one to do the kick off. If Aurel Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Anton Otețea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugen Popean. That made the score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Șora made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Popean was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Manuel Șora came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Șora couldn't finish the play. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Purje was substituted for Manuel Șora. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Otețea in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugen Popean saved -BZF-Magica Steaua from getting behind. When the match was over -BZF- Barca de Buzau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF-Magica Steaua throughout the match.
