Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Pumnu kicked off to start the match. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's attentive Vlad Agusoaei managed to snatch the ball when Denis Tapalagă made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Bogdan Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Gorunescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Manuel Drăgănoiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trpimir Čaplar came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Drăgănoiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Vlad Agusoaei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trpimir Čaplar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Nechifor Gherdan got a free kick in the 28th minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Bogdan Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Gorunescu in the 34th minute of play. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorel Dumitrana in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leontin Avram got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bogdan Ignătoiu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Drăgănoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trpimir Čaplar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Drăgănoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Manuel Drăgănoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trpimir Čaplar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalkeeper Trpimir Čaplar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Gorunescu made a kick off. After 55 minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dorel Dumitrana who took care of the corner kick. Cazimir Văcărescu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Dorel Dumitrana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bogdan Ignătoiu but with some difficulty. Marian Gorunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Tapalagă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Bogdan Ignătoiu made a huge save. Bogdan Ignătoiu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denis Tapalagă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. Manuel Drăgănoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trpimir Čaplar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Agusoaei during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Vlad Agusoaei got a free kick in the 65th minute. Marian Gorunescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Ignătoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Manuel Drăgănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trpimir Čaplar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. -BZF- Chimia Buzau were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorel Dumitrana took the corner. Trpimir Čaplar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Manuel Drăgănoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trpimir Čaplar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Barca de Buzau's zone, Marian Gorunescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Ignătoiu came out of the goal and Marian Gorunescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Pumnu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Agusoaei was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Vlad Agusoaei got a free kick in the 92nd minute. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
