Alex Frasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Haaland in the 8th minute of the match. One of Garanhão do SUL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roceira SC:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Roceira SC. The corner led Roceira SC's Michel Haaland to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Frasca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Messi came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Frasca was a little too slow when Hulk Speed got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ksawery Winnicki took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Frasca. Alex Frasca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Alex Frasca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Hulk Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Frasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Frasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Haaland to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Oliveira. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Tobiasz Zbytniewski got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edgar Costa sent off a good shot on target. Hulk Speed took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Frasca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Speed in the 67th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Alex Frasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Balsemão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Barral made a huge save. If Michel Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute António Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, António Gama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 91 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Haaland came free, but Alex Frasca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Alex Frasca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Salvador Lousada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garanhão do SUL and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roceira SC fully deserved thier win.
