In the 6th minute Ceferino Salvatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Frasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Frasca came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by BIAMAR's Ceferino Salvatore. But to his dismay, Ceferino Salvatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sigvard Wahlnäs scored 3-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Frasca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Frasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Israel Faria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Frasca came out and tried to block the shot, but Israel Faria slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match BIAMAR got a corner. Garanhão do SUL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Estrela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Luijpers made a great header on BIAMAR's corner, it was just that Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca managed to reach the ball for a save. Sigvard Wahlnäs was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 36 minutes, Sigvard Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BIAMAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Wahlnäs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, BIAMAR's Jairo Estrela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Frasca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of BIAMAR booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Vigário didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Ceferino Salvatore made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Israel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Frasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kaczanka, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute, Sigvard Wahlnäs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BIAMAR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Sigvard Wahlnäs sped through Garanhão do SUL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alex Frasca. Caio Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torcato Rebocho in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Salvador Lousada got a free kick in the 88th minute. Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Wahlnäs in the 89th minute of play. Alex Frasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jairo Estrela was slow to take the kick. During this time BIAMAR's players had a chance to rest. The BIAMAR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BIAMAR fully deserved thier win.
