Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liboslav Krušina in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frits Sap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute of the match SLB TELHA got a corner. ÓKINJÔ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Assunção ran over to the corner to take the kick. With his leg Bernardo Leiria managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when ÓKINJÔ FC's Alexandrino Sesimbra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, ÓKINJÔ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Vilaça came free, but Frits Sap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ÓKINJÔ FC's Frits Sap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Vilaça in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Naim Ünal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Leiria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 22nd minute Liboslav Krušina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Sap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Valério Vilaça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frits Sap was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After some careless play in the ÓKINJÔ FC defense, Liboslav Krušina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frits Sap. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frits Sap should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Vilaça in the 39th minute of play forced ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Frits Sap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Sap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naim Ünal to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandrino Sesimbra came free, but Bernardo Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ÓKINJÔ FC's Seyhun Demircan got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Seyhun Demircan off the ground. Valério Vilaça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Frits Sap when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, ÓKINJÔ FC's Frits Sap got control of the ball when Valério Vilaça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frits Sap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liboslav Krušina in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, ÓKINJÔ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naim Ünal to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, SLB TELHA's Frits Sap threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Liboslav Krušina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by ÓKINJÔ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Assunção was slow to take the kick. During this time SLB TELHA's players had a chance to rest. Bernardo Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Sesimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Iratxo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Modesto Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frits Sap stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liboslav Krušina's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Alexandrino Sesimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Leiria. SLB TELHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandrino Sesimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Modesto Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÓKINJÔ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Iratxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frits Sap stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liboslav Krušina's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
