A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Yuri Aguiar was substituted for Eduardo Maia. Éder Póvoas came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra. But to his dismay, Ricardo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rúben Cortez in the 70th minute of the match. Januário Rangel came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Ronaldo Nazario. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Nazario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ricardo Guerra's late challenge caught a A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Luís Brandon in the 77th minute really tested Januário Rangel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 78 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Jordão. Januário Rangel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rúben Cortez in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Nazario got free with Januário Rangel in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Nazario in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Jordão in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Éder Póvoas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazario came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rúben Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Tomás Jordão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éder Póvoas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
