Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petre Romanescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Petre Romanescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. YKE's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Romanescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Tilea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Oblemenco in the 8th minute of play. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Romanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Oblemenco in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Tilea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Avram Pârvan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. Avram Pârvan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sergiu Coșeriu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Grigore Cristoloveanu got a free kick in the 24th minute. Helmuth Duckadam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Grigore Cristoloveanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Pârvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Oblemenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Edgar Oblemenco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gigel Tilea, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. YKE's Avram Crăiniceanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigel Tilea. That made the score 2-2 after 59 minutes of play. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 62nd minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Rio's Grigore Cristoloveanu. But to his dismay, Grigore Cristoloveanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 72nd minute Sergiu Coșeriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Rareș Agulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Pârvan in the 75th minute of play. Sergiu Coșeriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 79th minute of play. Avram Chiru succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. When Avram Chiru came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the F.C. YKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Chiru couldn't finish the play. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 94th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
