Avram Ştercă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Sântimbrean in the 6th minute of the match. Korneliusz Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octav Hortopan came out and tried to block the shot, but Korneliusz Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Korneliusz Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Octav Hortopan made a huge save. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan got control of the ball when Korneliusz Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Korneliusz Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Octav Hortopan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korneliusz Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korneliusz Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to -BZF- Fc Gheraseni getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aurelian Acalinei hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, one of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octav Hortopan. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, Dan Filimon notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Avram Ştercă. Avram Ştercă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Korneliusz Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filip Urseanu made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aurelian Acalinei however managed to control. The audience was convinced that Korneliusz Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octav Hortopan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corneliu Sântimbrean made a kick off. Rikki Doro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octav Hortopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xerxes Doro in the 55th minute of the match. Filip Urseanu made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Edgar-Allan Doro. When Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 60th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Octav Hortopan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Hortopan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Octav Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Perișoară made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Filip Urseanu. Avram Ştercă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Acalinei went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When Korneliusz Barna came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Barna couldn't finish the play. Edgar-Allan Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Octav Hortopan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 86th minute of play. Octav Hortopan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korneliusz Barna's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Korneliusz Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xerxes Doro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Octav Hortopan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
