An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Miner in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Popcorn Miner in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmuth Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Lasker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Kramnik made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Beat Miner sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmuth Miner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Valentin Voicu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Emanuel Lasker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Sabin Miclauș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Miclauș in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Miner saved CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM from getting behind. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Helmuth Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 35th minute of play. Helmuth Miner came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Sami Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Dodorol Miner got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Anatoly Karpov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helmuth Miner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Vladimir Kramnik threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vit Miner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lasker to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vit Miner to make the kick off. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vit Miner in the 53rd minute of play. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vit Miner in the 56th minute of the match. Popcorn Miner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Voicu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Magnus Carlsen was substituted for Anatoly Karpov. The supporters of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Voicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Beat Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vit Miner in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Kramnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Helmuth Miner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM from getting a goal against them. Helmuth Miner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sami Zübeyr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. A collision led to CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Popcorn Miner hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sami Zübeyr who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Helmuth Miner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Zübeyr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Popcorn Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Vladimir Kramnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simula Miner in the 93rd minute of play. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Octavian Gaciu replaced Felix Lucaci. The FC Maci -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Maci -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
