The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute Gilliam den Pelsmaeker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Chlapowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Brudnicki struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bone Breakers. Emil Chlapowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilliam den Pelsmaeker in the 19th minute of the match. Emil Chlapowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerzy Wydrych in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute Christos Kanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Chlapowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Blicharz. Wieslaw Solecki kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 65th match minute, Bone Breakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Nuszkowski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bone Breakers's Marcin Jarek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerzy Karaszkiewicz. That made the score 0-1 after 73 minutes of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Brudnicki couldn't finish the play. Emil Chlapowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Dec, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bone Breakers's performance. The match ended with a win for Bone Breakers.
