Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geoffrey McBrand kicked off to start the match. Hektor Gejl came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand. But to his dismay, Geoffrey McBrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Resenstad FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Værenstrøm. Hektor Gejl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey McBrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Illanbaun getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fiachra McOliver hit a great ball. Bedilia Taylor charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedilia Taylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Bob Værenstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Geoffrey McBrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Resenstad FC defense, Geoffrey McBrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hektor Gejl. The Resenstad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hektor Gejl should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Illanbaun's Brandan McOliver got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Geoffrey McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Illanbaun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geoffrey McBrand couldn't finish the play. When Claus Unschuld fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resenstad FC's protests and gave Claus Unschuld a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Illanbaun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Resenstad FC:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Claus Unschuld made the kick off in the second half. Geoffrey McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Illanbaun's Bedilia Taylor got a free kick in the 56th minute. Hektor Gejl came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand. But to his dismay, Geoffrey McBrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Geoffrey McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Geoffrey McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Resenstad FC got a freekick which was hit by Niklaes Palmann. In the 72nd minute, Teddi Berland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedilia Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hektor Gejl having to interfere. Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddi Berland got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nicklas Lynskud. Artuir Rogers made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Brandan McOliver. In the 82nd play minute Bedilia Taylor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hektor Gejl. 1-5. Artuir Rogers made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Resenstad FC's Bob Værenstrøm. Geoffrey McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Claus Unschuld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resenstad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Unschuld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bedilia Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claus Unschuld in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barra Willson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Illanbaun had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
