Enéas Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Sporting de Gijón got a corner. The Power Guido FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saturnino Curcio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enéas Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Long John who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enéas Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Rufo in the 21st minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting de Gijón from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Alonzo Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Curcio came free, but Enéas Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Curcio in the 28th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Matias Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Power Guido FC's Enéas Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enéas Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Bilintx's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Enéas Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bilintx in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Saturnino Curcio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting de Gijón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Enéas Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bilintx in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sporting de Gijón's Carolo Ovando was substituted for Denis Bonadona. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Bilintx to strike the kick off in the second half. Enéas Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of The Power Guido FC booed when Sporting de Gijón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Lenílson Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Dante Fernendo. Sporting de Gijón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 68th minute of the match, Carolo Ovando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enéas Soeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dante Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Toledo in the 70th minute of play. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Venancio Emesto replaced Alejandro Rufo. The audience was convinced that Matias Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas Soeiro was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 77 minutes The Power Guido FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saturnino Curcio who took care of the corner kick. Silvinho de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to The Power Guido FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Noel Oliveira hit a great ball. The Power Guido FC made a substitution. Sandro Joabe replaced Faustão Arantes. After 85 played minutes The Power Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Oliveira. 88 minutes into the game, Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enéas Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 92 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Emesto. Dante Fernendo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by The Power Guido FC's Aílton Rezende. But to his dismay, Aílton Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. A sloppy throw-in by Noel Oliveira in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting de Gijón's Rune Fanström. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
