Xan Descapa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ado in the 23rd minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Xan Descapa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Rameriz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xan Descapa. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. With a little luck, Ornopata's Xan Descapa got control of the ball when Emílio Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xan Descapa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Loredo to make the kick off. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clemente Silviano hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Ornopata's Pipo Inzaghi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xan Descapa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xan Descapa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Errecaborda AFC got a corner. Ornopata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emílio Terra ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ornopata's goalie and right to Mauro Rameriz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ornopata's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joaquin Loredo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Edmond Verdun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Pipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Manuel Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Joaquin Loredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
