Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentine Hernandez in the 6th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentine Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, Luís Fabiano Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Valentine Hernandez made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Valentine Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Medeiros was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Valentine Hernandez made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Medeiros. Londrina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Londrina's Patrick Perez got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Londrina's goal looked a bit too open when Gaueko Lemos came free, but Edvaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Paiva was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentine Hernandez in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Medeiros saved Londrina from getting behind. Jaime Paiva's late challenge caught a FITO APPLE TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. Londrina made a substitution. Hortêncio Vieira replaced Carlos Albuquerque. The supporters of FITO APPLE TEAM booed when Londrina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Valentine Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Edvaldo Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FITO APPLE TEAM's Gu Ao Rong got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Londrina getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Patrick Perez hit a great ball. FITO APPLE TEAM's Valentine Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentine Hernandez in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luís Fabiano Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Londrina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Paraíba couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, César Sergipano threw the ball into play from the sideline. FITO APPLE TEAM's Fabricius Zemp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valentine Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. FITO APPLE TEAM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaueko Lemos in the 81st minute. It was a well-played corner which Valentine Hernandez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 86 minutes into the match, Valentine Hernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edvaldo Medeiros, 0-8. After having played for 91 minutes, Gu Ao Rong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FITO APPLE TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gu Ao Rong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FITO APPLE TEAM's Valentine Hernandez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Valentine Hernandez rounded Londrina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FITO APPLE TEAM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
