The audience was convinced that King Scorpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Olsson was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Fredric Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 22nd minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Olsson came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio. But to his dismay, King Scorpio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fredric Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Cândroveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Karl-Erik Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 37th minute of play. Liu Nan Ang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zacarias Brun charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Brun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Eger in the 95th minute of the match.
