Anton Björnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Weldon Gibbs in the 10th minute. San Antonio HotSPURS's Max Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Riguera in the 13th minute of play. Max Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Javier Riguera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute, San Antonio HotSPURS's Stewart Pritchard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Manuel Silban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Simon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Francis in the 35th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Max Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naboonga Wild Katt FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after San Antonio HotSPURS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Silban took the corner. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Manuel Silban was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Max Simon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Corley came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonso Snider was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Francis got free with Max Simon in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Antonio Corley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Björnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Lucho Garkalin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 72nd playminute. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Pritchard in the 81st minute of the match. Javier Riguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Simon having to interfere. San Antonio HotSPURS's Micah Alston was substituted for Antonio Corley. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Naboonga Wild Katt FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
