With an all-out effort, American Airlines's Jeremy Nicholas threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anoush Khalatbari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nobel in the 5th minute of play. When Edgardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Silva couldn't finish the play. The supporters of New England Minas booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anoush Khalatbari didn't get a good kick on the ball. When American Airlines's Bennvar Nobel, in the 12th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for American Airlines. After 17 minutes, Roman Major mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New England Minas and the American Airlines players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of New England Minas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of American Airlines:s goal. New England Minas:s Jeremy Nicholas showed great skill when he stopped Darnell Metcalf:s penalty. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anoush Khalatbari in the 20th minute. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 23rd minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Anoush Khalatbari sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of New England Minas booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbin De Brouwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alperen Öksüz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Anoush Khalatbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Airlines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anoush Khalatbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Anoush Khalatbari came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anoush Khalatbari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Arvin Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 44th minute of play. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anoush Khalatbari made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Anoush Khalatbari came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin 雷震南 in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Darnell Metcalf came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. American Airlines made a substitution. Lyuben Karavelov replaced Fabio Cannata. 73 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Nobel came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Tio Lio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Trevino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. American Airlines's Carlo Trujillo was substituted for Gabriel Rossi. Adrian Trevino kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Conklin in the 79th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anoush Khalatbari in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Anoush Khalatbari. But to his dismay, Anoush Khalatbari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 94th minute Jonah Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The New England Minas players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented American Airlines from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
