After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Pedrinho do Valle got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pedrinho do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiaguinho Faria took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olivier Kahn. Olivier Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Braamhaar in the 34th minute of play. Lemel SV's Olivier Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Braamhaar came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Hans Degeling got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Arce made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Maciel in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Kahn saved Lemel SV from getting behind. Olivier Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho do Valle in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Luís Eduardo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bastiaan Bruintjes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Lemel SV's Leon Reiling seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leon Reiling the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lemel SV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leon Reiling had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lemel SV! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Eduardo Arce in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Kahn saved Lemel SV from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Arnaldo Coutinho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bastiaan Bruintjes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Olivier Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dries Teunisse hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Faria in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivier Kahn saved Lemel SV from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Hermínio Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Tiaguinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Pitta in the 96th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Olivier Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were the better team. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
