In the 11th minute Adriano Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Dorian Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Pereira in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Mendonça in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Alberto Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Vítor Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Koehler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Horácio Pereira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Dorian Koehler. Dorian Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Vítor Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Koehler skillfully saved the ball. Marcelo Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Valdo Catarinense made a huge save. Adriano Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Valdo Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE. If Reinaldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorian Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Pereira in the 40th minute of the match. Valdo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tepedino in the 45th minute of play. Reinaldo Marquez's late challenge caught a E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. Reinaldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Valdo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Tepedino in the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Erik Bittencourt. Dorian Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 58th minute of play. Dorian Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 61st minute of the match. Valdo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Vítor Sousa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Couto in the 83rd minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Dorian Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Mendonça in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Eger in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Koehler saved E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE from getting behind.
