The Braga Junior FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brickeen Wall should have stopped the shot. Vilgot Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Mutu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilgot Palmquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Linköpings AIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Linköpings AIK:s Vilgot Palmquist showed great skill when he stopped Tomasz Waldoch:s penalty. Vilgot Palmquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Braga Junior FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
