Bernie Rosales started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Clinton in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonah Peck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Mike Clinton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck. Jonah Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristopher Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Uribe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Rosales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Schaffer. 18 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Rosales came free, but Cristopher Herndon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dustin Thome fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Dustin Thome a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dustin Thome to maneuver through the defense. Jonah Peck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Rey in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Cobi Babcock got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Clark Lindsey kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Gilbert Brooks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Uribe came free, but Cristopher Herndon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El Canalla de Chicago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inmortales FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Clinton made a kick off. If Mike Clinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mike Clinton got free with Jonah Peck in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernie Rosales scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristopher Herndon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristopher Herndon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Uribe in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Tony Frye was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inmortales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. In the 61st minute, Tony Frye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristopher Herndon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Thome, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Wesley Cage reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonah Peck. The goal made the score 1-3. Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Uribe in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute, Clark Lindsey made a precise shot to the right of Cristopher Herndon. Inmortales FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. El Canalla de Chicago's Craig Rhoades was substituted for James Uribe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Wiggins in the 82nd minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Babcock didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Lim during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Elias Lim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig Rhoades in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Zack Calloway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inmortales FC and the El Canalla de Chicago players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristopher Herndon came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Bernie Rosales. But to his dismay, Bernie Rosales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inmortales FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
