Luís Fernando Vergílio started the match with the kick off. Mazinho Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Hoffmann went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kıvanç Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Melo in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fernando Vergílio got free with Kıvanç Bengi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Pombal during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, HELVETIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Pombal to maneuver through the defense. André Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Hoffmann in the 13th minute of play forced HELVETIA's goalkeeper Mazinho Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, HELVETIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Melo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in HELVETIA's zone, André Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Fernandez came out of the goal and André Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When André Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Andreas Iniesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mazinho Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When André Hoffmann got free in front of the goal in the 35th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mazinho Fernandez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's André Hoffmann in 35 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mazinho Fernandez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Wesley Rocha in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HELVETIA's goalie prevented a goal. Mazinho Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Hoffmann in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Litoral EC - CIMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes of play, HELVETIA's Luís Fernando Vergílio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kıvanç Bengi was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazinho Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, HELVETIA's goalkeeper Mazinho Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wesley Rocha. Sílvio Luís Melo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Mazinho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andreas Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, André Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mazinho Fernandez. André Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind HELVETIA's goalkeeper Mazinho Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 played minutes HELVETIA got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Melo. André Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Mazinho Fernandez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 90 minutes in the game, Andreas Iniesta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mazinho Fernandez having to interfere. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's André Hoffmann in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HELVETIA's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Rocha. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Andreas Iniesta got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
