When RACINGUS's Leonides Chago in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Inter Miami CF defense, Leonides Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Chuan. The Inter Miami CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Chuan should have stopped the shot. After having played for 11 minutes, Leonides Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACINGUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestino Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Håkan Wiklund managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Inter Miami CF's Severo Eron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Chago in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Elias Vincent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Miami CF and the RACINGUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Elias Vincent got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Bastian got free with Håkan Wiklund in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RACINGUS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Elias Vincent scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Wiklund, making the score, 1-1. Braulio Cilio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Teo Barea's late challenge caught a RACINGUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Barea helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Eron in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Wiklund saved RACINGUS from getting behind. Marcos Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Chago's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Marcos Chuan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when German Emesto sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in RACINGUS's zone, Celestino Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Wiklund came out of the goal and Celestino Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Koldo. Marcos Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Chago in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Miami CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejo Bento was slow to take the kick. During this time RACINGUS's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the match, RACINGUS's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Bastian came free, but Håkan Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Leonides Chago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Chuan. Leonides Chago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ramiro Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, German Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's Celestino Bastian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Arias. 1-3 became the score in the 98th minute when Leonides Chago elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Inter Miami CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RACINGUS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
