The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomé Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhivko Húntev went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Campidelis in the 11th minute of the match. When Magno Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s protests and gave Magno Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Zhivko Húntev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Facopo FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhivko Húntev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Campidelis came free, but Osvaldinho Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Téo Campidelis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Facopo FBPA's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Téo Campidelis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno. Donato Botelho scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Horácio Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Facopo FBPA the free kick. After 23 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Aparecido. Zhivko Húntev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Oliveira having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 26th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hori Galli hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhivko Húntev in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhivko Húntev in the 32nd minute of play. The throw-in from Horácio Aparecido in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Facopo FBPA's Duda Cordeiro. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Campidelis in the 38th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Aparecido. The crowd rose to their feet as Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomé Oliveira. That made the score 2-2 after 43 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhivko Húntev to make the kick off. If Zhivko Húntev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Zhivko Húntev made a precise shot to the right of Tomé Oliveira. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Campidelis in the 57th minute of play. Osvaldinho Moreno made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Donato Botelho sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Caetano Domingues sped through Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomé Oliveira. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Gualter Cerezo was substituted for Dieguinho Porto. Aloísio Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tomé Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Magno Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hori Galli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Campidelis in the 73rd minute of play. Zhivko Húntev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldinho Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Botelho in the 87th minute. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Facopo FBPA could leave the field as winners, despite Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
