Mircea Dumitrana started the match with the kick off. Ilie Mavrogheni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Balint hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Mircea Dumitrana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Charles Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Dumitrana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner. Cosmin Drăghincescu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Buffalo Timişoara's corner Cosmin Drăghincescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charles Sarmento quite easily take care of the ball. Ilie Mavrogheni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Paraibano in the 29th minute of play. Charles Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mircea Dumitrana sent off a good shot on target. Ilie Mavrogheni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Dumitrana in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Sarmento saved Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting behind. Charles Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mircea Dumitrana in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Nilson Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Róbson Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Drăghincescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Manole Mihăescu charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Mihăescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Buffalo Timişoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Mihăescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Pandrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Ilie Mavrogheni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbson Prata. The referee gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Róbson Prata, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buffalo Timişoara's Ilie Mavrogheni. 0-2. Charles Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Dumitrana in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Mircea Dumitrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Mavrogheni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbson Prata in the 91st minute. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Charles Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Nandriș in the 97th minute of play. João Vítor Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Buffalo Timişoara side.
