Rareș Papadima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Manuel Pască made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Pompiliu Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Bogătan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Manu took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviu Bogătan. Raureni Academy's Florin Manu managed to work through Unicorns ™'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Florin Manu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Florin Manu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Manu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Silviu Bogătan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raureni Academy. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Pompiliu Andrițoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Bogătan. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Bogătan should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Codrin Boc made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Ştefan Petrea got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. Raureni Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
