Dan Gagiu scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Bogătan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Ghișe hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Silviu Bogătan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petre Benga went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Aurel Huștiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Alex Răduț got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Petre Benga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Silviu Bogătan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 19 minutes, Octav Puiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Puiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurel Huștiu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Dan Gagiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Octav Puiu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silviu Bogătan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octav Puiu scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Bogătan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Puiu in the 40th minute of play. Gheorghe Albescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Valer Nuțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Bogătan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Vuşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Răduț made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alex Răduț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unicorns ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Răduț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Nuțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dan Gagiu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave Dan Gagiu a yellow card for diving instead. Dan Gagiu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Iordache Vuşcan scored 0-6 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Bogătan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silviu Bogătan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Vuşcan in the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Gagiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silviu Bogătan. That made the score 0-7 in the 68 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Papadima came free, but Valer Nuțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Nuțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Albescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Petre Benga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Bogătan. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Bogătan should have stopped the shot. Petre Benga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Silviu Bogătan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Dan Gagiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silviu Bogătan. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Gagiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Iordache Vuşcan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Unicorns ™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
