Winksele 2016's Big Hulk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertrand Sielens, made in the 4th minute of the game. Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Zinon Potamias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ben Dillemans. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Zabal Ubeda could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Ben Dillemans however easily saved by the left post. Ben Dillemans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zabal Ubeda. Georg Söderqvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Atle Finsrud made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Dillemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atle Finsrud. Ben Dillemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Marchefka in the 30th minute of play. Ben Dillemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinon Potamias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Dillemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joery Hylen in the 33rd minute of play. Zabulón Carabajal came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Winksele 2016's Matias De Cat. But to his dismay, Matias De Cat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 39th minute, Matias De Cat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertrand Sielens lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias De Cat made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Atle Finsrud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ben Dillemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atle Finsrud in the 58th minute of play. When Iwan Marchefka came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Klavertje Vier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Marchefka couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylven Van Der Meeren to maneuver through the defense. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bavo Le Lion in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Klavertje Vier's Atle Finsrud fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. FC Klavertje Vier's Lars Lecointre was substituted for Max De Wever. Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atle Finsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Fan Tian Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Quirin Brauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias De Cat in the 90th minute of play. Ben Dillemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atle Finsrud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Atle Finsrud made a precise shot to the right of Ben Dillemans. Winksele 2016's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Matias De Cat charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias De Cat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matias De Cat hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Joery Hylen's late challenge caught a Winksele 2016's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joery Hylen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Joery Hylen got a free kick in the 97th minute. FC Klavertje Vier were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Winksele 2016 for a fine match.
