In the 4th minute Twelve Ravens were awarded a corner. Lennart De Coster went to the cornerflag to take it. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Mats Vanooteghem. Roland Vanden Broucke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Teurfs in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Twelve Ravens's Pierre Van Hinnendael to fire away a dangerous shot which Axell Verduin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 19th minute of play. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinard Hennes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Gullegem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ion Giurgiu in the 38th minute. It was a well-played corner which Emanuel De Roest managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Twelve Ravens from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Mats Vanooteghem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 59th minute, Reinard Hennes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Barnaba Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Vanden Broucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Jörgen Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Twelve Ravens's Vicent Duranseau was substituted for Reinard Hennes. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Jörgen Norberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Pierre Van Hinnendael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axell Verduin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicent Duranseau in the 80th minute. 88 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Vicent Duranseau came free, but Axell Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicent Duranseau in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. FC Gullegem were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
